Expanding Applied Learning
Dunwoody College of Technology, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is the oldest and only non-profit technical college in the region and provides a rigorous, industry-focused technical education. They incorporate hands-on, applied learning with 3D printing into their curriculum which has earned them an international reputation for a successful approach.
Thanks to pairings such as the Stratasys F370, GrabCAD Print and 3D printing materials such as ABA, ASA and PLA, students are able to try their hand and learn skills they wouldn't be able to without the technology. Through their coursework, they learn the ins and outs of the manufacturing process, verifying concepts, validating designs, testing function and much more.
