With the help of a Fortus 3D printer from Stratasys, Solaxis is able to design and manufacture jigs without these negative factors interfering. Not only were they able to produce a 3D printed jig that is over 100 pounds lighter than normal, but it also cut the design and manufacturing time by a significant amount.
